First bike you owned?

A Triumph Palm Beach. My Parents bought it for me when I was 14 although they really couldn't afford it. It meant more to me than anything else I have ever owned.

Come on, Own up. Who had a Budgie??

1965 made my own from parts I got from council tip in Huyton.
Car driver hit me coming down the hill wrecked it I was ok but he bought me a brand new Eddie Merckz racer had that for 20 yrs .
love cycling but it's a bit dangerous on the roads now so stick to the cycle tracks.

I know I replied already with Raleigh lizard, however that's not strictly true. This is the first bike I ever owned, age 4! And my parents wondered why I was a bike nut for years?!

Not this exact one, but same model and colour! Italjet 50cc

The first bike I remember was a foldup unisex bike, that if you peddled backwards the brakes were applied.

Weird bike!

Huyton, HUYTON!!!!!

Lucky bugger, we had to break the ice on the Mersey, swim over to Birkenhead, walk to Bidston tip, whilst running the gauntlet of North Birkenhead scallies, buy the scrap, build it, then swim with it on my back, back to the Dingle!!

You had it easy.;)
