First 3 holes or last 3 holes.... which are harder?

Just the first for me as there are no practice facility's to warm up. It's been as bad as an 8 on the first followed by birdie, birdie on the next 2. The first is also a par 5 so you need to hit a good drive followed by a good long 2nd. Anything left off the tee is lost.

Our first hole is a long par 3 with OB right but I get a shot and happy to take 4. The 2nd is a par 5 and as long as you avoid the OB right off the tee it is fairly simple. The 3rd is a long par 4 and you have to carry an environmental area which is OB. Once that is negotiated it is a fairly straightforward hole and 5 should be the worse you get. If you can come out of those level twos or better it sets you up nicely. I'm not saying I've not had my share of disasters but I don't fear the holes as I tend to warm up before hand so go in feeling loose and confident

If I am worse than 1 over on those 3 holes I consider it a bad start. I'd take bogey on the 1st all day but anything worse than par on 2,3 & 4 is unacceptable

first, last and middle for me. I may have to let a few forum members play it, as rough a course as it is, its a nightmare to score well on!

£10 for all day btw... bargain ;)
