Finger Pain

Recently, after playing, I've had quite a bit of pain in the third finger of my right hand in the first knuckle.
It doesn't bother me at any other time, just after playing.
I use the interlock grip and I'm right handed.
I don't think its arthritis because it clears up after a day or so, whereas my left hand fingers have arthritis and it feels totally different.

is it inside or outside your hand? I sometimes get a pain on the puffy part inside(palm side) of my index finger. Rest normally does the trick or even a wee half or three..

Have you been hitting a lot of balls. Sounds like some form of RSI injury if it clears up quickly

I haven't really been hitting any more balls than normal.
Played today and wasn't really concious of it during the round, but afterwards the finger feels stiff and sore and if I press on the knuckle its quite painful.
It's also clicking when I bend it.

Not might be the same, but I also used to get alot of pain in the knuckle of my index finger on my right hand. It turned out to be because I was trying to steer the ball a bit with my right hand through impact. Since I loosened my right hand grip it seems to have stopped.
