Finally i feel my game is there!!

Played a round today and really felt good
No real mistakes, No duff shots or hitting it thin
Driver was good, getting compliments from other golfers when i drove a par 4 in 1
it was 270 yards.
had a 74 and felt i still left some shots out there.

Finally i feel like my game can handle most of the shots needed at the time

Hate to say it but i can thank Gerry Watson for alot of it , some of the advice and tips he talked about really helped me

Anyone else starting to feel like there game is really coming on?

i didn't see the original posting but well done!

Yes I am happy now that my replaced hips are healing and I am certainly striking the ball a lot better

12 handicap now it was about my wedges, bought some new vokeys and really starting to hit down on them well

Different end of the hcp spectrum but struggled all winter so booked some lessons. I've only had the one and a drill from bob and the improvement has been immense! Shocked by partners I'm like a new person on the course! Just need to sharpen up my already improved short game and should start to see some cuts coming my way!! Hopefully!! Also got some callaway x series wedges which have helped.

My game still needs work but my swing is really feeling good and I am starting to feel confident. I don't get to play as much as I would like at the moment but I can practice my swing and putting as much as I like.

In truth things are starting to feel a bit special but I don't want to anger the golfing gods by talking about it too much!

Make the most of it ! The guy I have the odd lesson with always says this. He means it too as he's seen so many ups and downs over the years.

I shot 74 at the end of Feb and have barely made 84 since then....

Funnily enough, I felt a bit like a tournament winner on the tour - I'd earned an exemption and could fiddle with my game for a couple of years to see if I could improve it...

Well done tho. Hopefully your mental game is a bit more positive than mine.

I had been banging on and on here about the game being so close and then produced it over the Easter weekend. It is still lurking in there and I feel much happier with my overall game. 74 off 12 is pretty decent shooting though.

I too feel that my game is coming together....................at last.
After trying to forget everything I'd learnt over the last 25yrs or so I made the jump to Stack & Tilt in December 2011. I'm hitting the ball as sweetly as I ever have, the only issues I have is with my driver, (see sig.), but that's starting to fall into place too!
I re-gripped it yesterday as the Winn UltraLite was absolute gash. I spoke to my pro about shortening the shaft by an inch but he said nope, give it another few weeks first...............learn to love it!
