Finally broke 90 and finally got a eagle!

Hey,

Tee'd off this morning for a round at a course I've not played at for years. Got to the first tee and was asked if I minded playing with two other singles to make a three ball. Im happy to play with just about anyone. So off we went.

Off the first tee with my 3 wood a nice 250yrd drive, then I line up for the second shot (179yrd according to gps) hit a absolute cream of a shot... and it only bloody goes in the hole! Nice way to start off a round.

Went a little down hill from their, couldn't putt today to save my life. I missed 6 birdie putts. End up with a round of 88 (72 par).

Absolutely chuffed.

Now all I need is somewhere to play next week!

Fantastic! That's a cracking score and you're right to be chuffed!

I remember finishing 6 inches away from the hole from 150 yards for an eagle once.. maybe one day I'll make one!

Well played on breaking 90 as well. I'm still searching for the elusive double digits but it sounds like you had a brilliant day.

90 is my next target, as well as eliminating those two or three holes a round where I completely blow up and card anything even up to double figures.
