Finallly...

Conqured my fade.

Turns out there was nothing wrong with my swing mechanics, just the fact i was swinging a little too hard.

As a result of the "fix", I've lost some yardage (now around 220-230 yards) but my drives now go bullet straight.

Just thought I'd share

Nice one. It's always nice when it clicks.

Unfortunately for me, my new swing clicked and hasn't clicked since (over 3 weeks ago!)...So still trying to get it grooved.

You're right it is a nice feeling to know you've got over a major stumbling block in your game.

My short game is probably the best part of my over-all game and has been saving me for the last god-knows how long after errant tee shots.

I seem to have put more effort/time/practice into my short game knowing I've got to compensate for my poorness off the tee. In hindsight I should have looked to improve off the tee, rather than compensate in other areas.

My target of breaking 20 this season just too a big step closer

This is the thing Chris.

My last couple of rounds have been sub-20.

Hopefully get a big cut this year!!
