I guess this doesn't qualify as a film, but we're watching FOYLE'S WAR on Acorn. I know it's a decade old but we love it. We subscribed to Acorn a few months ago because
we've had Britbox for a couple of years. I actually watch both almost exclusively. TV here in the US has way too many reality or game shows. VERA, MIDSOMER MURDERS and ENDEVOR are some of our favorites. What can I say; I've become an expatriate.

Sadly, we’re seeing an increase in reality TV, especially at prime time.
 
I'm amazed at the success of these idiotic reality TV shows. H L Mencken was right when he said: "nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people". I guess that applies in Europe and the rest of the world too.
