I guess this doesn't qualify as a film, but we're watching FOYLE'S WAR on Acorn. I know it's a decade old but we love it. We subscribed to Acorn a few months ago because
we've had Britbox for a couple of years. I actually watch both almost exclusively. TV here in the US has way too many reality or game shows. VERA, MIDSOMER MURDERS and ENDEVOR are some of our favorites. What can I say; I've become an expatriate.

Sadly, we’re seeing an increase in reality TV, especially at prime time.

Just watched “6 Days” the Netflix film based on the Iranian embassy siege. Very average watch and not overly accurate based on the actual reports surrounding the event. But as always Mark Strong acted his part superbly.

I'm amazed at the success of these idiotic reality TV shows. H L Mencken was right when he said: "nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people". I guess that applies in Europe and the rest of the world too.

I watched it on Prime. Don’t know if it’s still on there but I’m sure you could find on one of the streaming services. It’s pretty decent and the guy who plays Harry is in it so there’s full continuity to the story line.

Agreed. I would say the same , really well put together story and escapes the outside world for a couple of hours watching it.
