We binged all 4 episodes of The Secret Agent on Netflix. Absolutely brilliant.
Fine acting by Toby Jones, Vicky McClure and Stephen Graham

I agree but it was originally intended to be shown in cinemas where 2+ hours is not a long time

I enjoyed it (much more than the second one, although the first was excelllent) but our only random irritation was when we first saw the church we both said that surely an English church I thought this was set in the US? . I have seen quite a few American churches but they look nothing like that.
I had to check, the exterior church shots are all filmed in an old church in Epping Forest.

Watched Wake up Dead man the new Knives out movie. It was alright harmless entertainment but wouldn’t watch again.

Just watched F1 with Brad Pitt, rarely seen such a formulaic movie. Surprised by the reviews.

I hope you are not meaning the one about the Illusionists robbing banks , I thoroughly enjoyed 1 & 2 but they were called 'Now you see me' but I see there has now been a 3 made called 'Now you see me, now you dont'

My sister and brother in law both had magic/illusionist acts so may be a bit biased.

Yesterday I watched a slightly older film

The Last Legion (LG Channels) Romans verses the Visigoths and Verses a old British clan when protecting the very young Ceasar.

Great cast and good afternoon fare.

Only downside is LG Channels - the same advert repeated every 10 minutes, at least it is only one advert in every break.

It was latest one saw it at the cinema, I like a bit of magic, illusionists but there was very little of any note in this film.
