The plot was full of holes - like how did he get all the staff to go along with it - but I thought it was pretty original and funny.

Lad at work told me to watch this a while back,said it was really good.
Me & the mrs both thought it was terrible.
Just looked & it gets 7.2 on IMDB which is good
Obviously a marmite film.

My daughter came over for a few hours this afternoon so we put a couple of films on...
Elemental, pretty cute Pixar film, very run of the mill but quite touching.
Marcel The Shell With Shoes On, came across it on Sky Cinema, we'd never heard of it before but it sounded interesting. Wow amazing film, quirky, funny, poignant, for me it was the real deal. It won't be eveyones cup of tea but I think it's one of the best films I've seen this year.

Enjoyed elemental but I'm sorry the water that would overflow how on earth would that reach fire town?? It's a tiny overflow.

Long Shot, a 40 minute long documentary on Netflix...wow
The latest Hunger Games film, a prequel. Good film, well done. Quite brutal so think before anyone takes kids to it. The cast were excellent, Peter Dinklage and Viola Davis stole every scene they were in but the leads were very good as well.
It was done in 3 sections, the third one seemed out of place to me. A bit odd but that didn't affect the overall enjoyment. A worthy addition to the series.
Next up, Wonka tickets booked for Christmas eve.

Managed to squeeze in another film last night, Icarus on Netflix, a documentary about doping in sports. Very good and very eye opening.
