I'm sure it'll have been mentioned a couple of dozen times by now but just in case it hasn't, I'll do the forum a favour, call it an early Xmas pressie ......... Under no circumstances should you watch the film 'Beast' with Edris Elba

You can thank me now...

Not just a dreadful script with unrealistic lines & unbelievable continuity slipups but woefully 'acted' to boot. He must've been under contract to make that dross
Reminded me of the stuff you saw in the 'straight to vhs bin' at Fine Fare

Talking of Idris Elba, I watched a newish Luther film on Netflix. Slightly disturbing but not bad.

Watched The Equaliser 1, 2 and 3. Really liked 3, just behind 1 for me, with no. 2 in third. Just don't like the ending very much in no.2.

Watched Mafia Mamma on Amazon last night. Pretty formulaic and average, I wanted to switch it off for being too stupid but found myself strangely absorbed and enjoying it. It's no classic but far from the worst film I've ever seen. If you're looking for something simple to kill some time, it does the job. Oh yeah, it has Monica Belucci in it.
