Blair Witch Project. I've spent the night with scarier women than this film!!

I decided to go the whole hog with this film so I made sure I was alone, shut all the curtains, turned all the lights off and pressed play....

The film wound me up more and more!!

OK, you're lost in a forest - what's the best thing to do when you're lost?? Yes, that's right - throw away your map - brilliant!! That's a much more sensible option than using the damn thing!!

Then, they come across a fast flowing river. What would I do in this situation?? I probably build a raft using wood, bracken and twine from the trees and then float down the river which will probably lead to civilisation of some sort. What do they do?? Cross the river and head off into the forest - without a map!!

Then, and this was the REALLY stupid part - it's night, you're scared, you think something's after you - what's the best thing to do?? Lie dead still under your tent and make no noise whatsoever - like a mouse would do in a similar situation (although I don't think mice have tents....) or raise bloody hell by shouting and screaming and waving your torch around like some demented raver. Yep, the murderer will never find you now!!

IDIOTS!!

Finally, it was 98/99 - no-one had a mobile then no. You've got a camcorder but no mobile.

CRETINS!!

A favourite of yours then? ;)

thank you for this, not only have you saved me the rental fee, you have stopped me wasting an evening

Agree with all the Treckie and star Wars comments as I hate Sci-Fi. i like to relate to a film if you know what I mean although I did list rocky and the cuckoos Nest as my faves

Alexander with that knob Colin Farrel in , it's got to be the most wooden acting i've ever seen since I gave up watching soaps when I was 12. My wife and I stopped watching after about 20 minutes , truly awful

Twilight ::::

A teenage girls battle to chose between beastiality or necrophilia .....

Love it!

Yes the Twilight films are appalling.
Star Wars - first two were good then it became muppets in space.
Harry Potter - tripe
Lord of the Rings - okay apart from the gay Hobbit love fest at the end.
Police Academy - appalling.
Also think the Pregant Asian Babes In latex films 1-8 are overrated...

Couple of issues -

Rocky - happy to admit the franchise is poor and was just climbing in but the original Rocky film is a good movie. It did win best film at the Oscars in 76 I think and had a decent performance by Stallone. The guy down at heel given a shot at the big time storyline is used in countless movies, it appeals to people.

Die Hard - it does what it says on the tin, very 80's but I would watch it for Alan Rickman's performance alone, that guy is class.
2 and 3 weren't great but I really enjoyed Die Hard 4.0 a year or two ago.

However absolutely agree Blair Witch was appauling, I got motion sickness with that awful jumpy camera work and that woman screaming for 2 hours drove me mental. :(

Just about any musical (except Paint Your Wagon).
Anything with Jim Carey, would never tire of punching his ludricous face.
Battlefield Earth, Scientologist crap, believe what you want Travolta but don't inflict it on the sane among us.
Any of that period, Jane Austen, Mr Darcy pretentious drivel that people pretend to like because they think it makes them look intelligent, it doesn't.
Films that ruin TV shows from your childhood, Starsky & Hutch, The A Team, Dukes of Hazzard etc, stop it, stop it now.
