My other half asked me what i would like to do on Fathers day and i replied "a round of golf" would be nice! And she politely asked again "what would i liked to do on Fathers Day"? so im guessing im not playing golf and quietly thinking[soz fuming] to myself why did she ask??

So in retrospect i should have replied "what ever you want my dear" and i would probably have got my round of golf after all!! WOMEN ARE LIKE GOLF!! YOU THINK YOU HAVE CRACKED IT THEN THE NEXT DAY YOU REALISE HOW LITTLE YOU KNOW!!

DingleBerry, I had the same thing. Mentioned a game of golf would be nice on fathers Day to be met with...."Oh, I thought it would be nice to do something with the kids as a family". Of course it will, but a knock round the local course wouldn't go amiss either.

think we are screwed anyway as the London to Brighton bike ride goes right through the village where I live on Sunday, and my wife is helping on a refreshments stand all day... :(

you clearly haven't studied this scenario. I read it as ' It will be nice for you to do something with the kids while I spend the day gossiping with mates while standing behind a refreshment stand.'

and G help any cyclist who interrupts! :p

The sesnible way is to answer with some particularly kinky bedroom activity, and then when she says the inevitable negative, then you move on to golf and that's you being big and compromising :)

Doesn't work for me :( :(

By the time she has finished with me, I've no energy left for golf ..... :o :o

(I wish) :D :D

I had a golf lesson in the morning (much needed), a couple of delicious pints with the family followed by an early evening trip to my favourite curry house with the good Lady and the kids. Good day all round.
