on the golf course...

I look around at most of the players at my club and it is usually black/blue traousers and and polo shirt. Now I have not got a big problem with thsi, as its teh traditional getup, but I like to wear lets say, brighter and more adventurous clothes.

This week it is Pink trousers and Blue / White shirt.

what will you be wearing this weekend?

Have to say my choice in golf wear is extremely reserved.
However if you've got the confidence and don't mind drawing attention to yourself who am i to comment!

There is a guy at our club who turns up for medals in all the wacky gear of the day - your not him are you? You don't play at Cawder GC?

Actually i don't think the guy at our club can read or write so it probably isn't you.

Oops have just seen your spelling of "trousers" :D

I'm a plain guy myself. Most adventurous bit of golf clothing I have is a Benross beanie with a half inch wide pink line round it. It was a free offer in a golf magazine and pink was the only colour left by the time I ordered.

My brother laughs at my beige Hippo trousers. Bit rich coming from a man who wears baby blue and pink a lot. Must admit some of the stuff on the GolfPoser stand at the Scottish Golf Show caught my eye.

Im not a 'loud clothes' wearer, but do like to look smart, in a sort of 'look like a Pro play like a Pro' kinda way !

Got some Pin striped Strombergs which are a little above dull i'll admit, but hardly enough to call loud.

Also a nice Cerise Os.Jacobson Polo shirt, which is quite bright, but hey......
its summer !

I wore a light blue t shirt to the North Kent meet last week and was convinced that everyone would think I was Murph! (give or take a year or two)

I most often wear all black

Chris

pillar box red top (polo shirt of fleece) as are the rules at my club, with either cargo trousers or shorts.

Dont like formal trousers, just dont feel comfortable in them.

The red thing kinda takes away the need to look out for different stuff to wear on a course, which is quite cool really.

Plain gear for me to be honest. Not aware of anyone at my club who wears the louder clothes but the membership is certainly older and anyone going down that route would look very out of place. I sort of feel that I need a better game before I start drawing that much attention to myself.

i dont mind the odd bright t-shirt through the summer but it has to be reserved on the troozer front.
i have to say tho that this years colours with the brands are quite plain, black, white and blue seem to be in.

I used to be a black trouser man and a multitude of tops, however ive smarted myself up lately and look the business in my nike gear,if only my game would do it justice

Very shiny Royal Blue, Greg Norman(shark), shirt I picked up in Vegas a few years back, with Stromburg trousers with blue piping on pockets, and my Footjoy 'My Joys' sport shoes which are Blue and White( Everton Fan) with my nickname 'SIMO' stitched onto the side of each shoe!!! so basically look a right Ponce...but at least no one will nick my shoes!!!!
