The problem we have is, that Kean is doing the best job he can with the squad the owners are allowing him to have.
The sacking of Allardyce was as Piece points out, supposedly done to bring in a bigger name that would return the early 90's glory days to the club. Problem with that though is the Venky football advisors and owners themselve are clueless as to how to go about that.
So what happens, there were no bigger names available than Big Sam who would've taken a step down to come to our club. So we got Kean, who in fairness is a very good coach problem is good coaches don't always make good Managers e.g. Brian Kidd just look at his coaching credentials he has helped teams win big everywhere he's been, but took a managers role and struggled to perform.
Next up is Venkys stripping the better players from our team bit by bit to fill their pockets and yet still expect an unproven manager to bring in results with a 2nd rate squad.
The reason I cannot boo Kean and actually hold anything against him, is down to the fact that all he has done is try to do the best he can with what he's given by a poor board. He has at least had the decency also to come out and state he understands why fans are not behind him, he also acknowledged he doesn't blame us/them but will continue to work to find the answers to get things right. So all credit to him, the only real answer in this with our club is for Venkys instead of taking from the club and sales, is to re-invest and put into the team all they can to get us back to the top flight.
