What is the difference between hitting a fairway wood and a utility club? Is there a difference in ball flight or distance?
I've never really gotten on with fairway woods (Adams RPM 3 wood, seem to top a lot), but my 3 and 4 iron utilities (Adams A2) are so sweet.
I know, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!", but am interested to know if I should persevere with the fairway (another lesson with the Pro), reaching for it in certain situations rather than always taking the utility?
