Hi All,
New member and new to golf. I’ve been playing since March and have started to score in the high 90’s.
My current set up is as per signature and I can’t help but feel I could do with a fairway wood whilst still learning the game. I can hit my hybrid around 160 yards from the fairway but the issue I tend to have is I get a lot of height on all my shots and this leaves me short on some of the longer par 4s / 5s.
Would a fairway wood be much of an improvement over a hybrid RE distance? I’ve seen a MacGregor Mactec adjustable fairway which at £50 new seems a reasonable deal (I appreciate that it’s not a premium club but I’m not a premium golfer either LOL)
thanks
