So we have new: Ferrari, Redbull, Sauber, Caterham, Force India, Lotus & McLaren. They all look pretty hideous apart from the McLaren, who have opted not to go for the Lego car look (step on the nose).

Testing starts tomorrow and by the end of the week we may be able to start to see who is looking good for the season ahead.

I am highly exited, I am a HUGE F1 fan and my season starts tomorrow as I always keep tabs on everything I can.

I will be interesting to see how Kimi gets... I am a life long Schumacher fan so I am exited to see the new Mer next week!!

Anyone elce interested at this stage in the game or is it all a little too early?

Al

No, and I have hated boot mender since before he drove for bennetton.

Oh I don't have a problem with that... I don't know anyone bar me who does like him. I doubt I even like him but I do like a bit of "ill do WHATEVER it takes to win" right up to the point where he does something stupid like crash into the back of Kobayashi. Its one of them where I cant change now... its just been toooo long.

No, F1 isn't for me. Used to be entertaining back in the days of Mansell, Prost and Senna, but all seems to be so boring and predictable now, with races determined more by how many pit stops each team makes than by pure driving ability. Even though I take barely a passing interest and have no real knowledge of F1, I feel fairly confident in predicting that the Red Bull car will be better than the rest, so a straight shootout between Vettel and Webber for the championship. Alonso will be competitive in the Ferrari, but ultimately likely to finish 3rd in the drivers championship, and there'll be the usual noises from McLaren two or three races in that their car is inferior to the Red Bull. Button and Hamilton will win the odd race, with Hamilton continuing to follow up a good performance with two or three crashes and a bit of controversy. Look forward to be proved wrong though.........!

I see SKY Sports has a new dedicated F1 HD channel starting soon, free to anyone already subscribing to SKY sports HD apparently

Ye its one of those sports that the more you know about it the easier it is to watch. There are some reasons why Redbull may not be the best team this year but it would be a fool who bet against them. I hope its not the case!

I can tell you're all excited, you've accidentally turned off your spell checker ;)

Being a bit of a fan of any type of motorsport quite looking forward to the new season... Might have a look at one of the dedicated F1 sites in the next day or so. More in hope than expectation to see if there is any indication of any of the major teams have found a way of closing the gap to the Newey penned Red Bull cars...

Sorry Alex... Never cared too much for Schumi... For all his immense talent never quite worked out why he, on occassions, needed to resort to 'stock car' driving tactics :(...

I wouldn't be discounting Alonso from the equation just yet... Think he's possibly the best driver of the current bunch just needs Ferrari to give him a chassis a bit nearer to the Red Bulls and he'll do the rest...

F1 has been dire since the sad death of Senna.

More overtaking in a lap of MotoGP, WSB, BSB than a F1 procession.

Not a massive F1 fan but quite looking forward to it on Sky reckon itl be quite impressive through Sky's Hd, especially the fact Georgie T will be presenting :p
Hoping for Button to win the Championship, not a fan of Hamilton - turned into an arrogant little plebe.

Can't get too excited about F1 any more, alas.
It used to be fun, back in the day, they even overtook one another at times too!
Will only watch Spa, awesome circuit & dodgy weather, and any other race for which rain is forecast.

Slime.
