New season starts this weekend, really looking forward to it. Although I think it will be a Merccedes 1+2 again this year I think Ferrari will push them a lot harder his year. Also McLaren should be a lot quicker this year (they couldn't really be any slower!) and will be interesting to see how Haas get on. Bring on the racing!

Really looking forward to it, despite the fact that I was getting a bit bored with it towards the tail end of last season.
I've always been an avid F1 fan and live in hope that one day it will return to it's former glories rather than just be technology controlled by the pit lane.

qualifying should be interesting now.
also a new rule on what can and cant be said on the radio, which is going to leave the driver to work out whats going on during the race as opposed to being told everything by the pit boss.

Shouldn't have a radio at all. Should be pit boards only.

The one thing I would change about modern F1, if I could, is to ban telemetry.

It's absolutely ruined what should be a battle of man and machine. F1 may as well be a computer simulation now. And I say that as someone who works in computer simulation. :)

Mercedes 1-2 in drivers and constructors. That's my only post on this thread this year!
I suspect you will be right but I hope for F1 it isn't, it's losing its appeal and Formula E will pick up more fans as it's decent racing! Personally I would rather watch the full BTCC race these days and watch F1 highlights on in the evening.

The last 3:30 of the final session watching drivers getting weighed and taking their race suits off, time for a re-think!

Give the drivers an hour and 12 laps as it was in F1s heyday!

LOL at Toto Wolfe, 'i cant say too much on tv but the new qualiying is rubbish':D Can't disagree with him, they need to do something as it just short changes the fans. On a positive nite note great to see Mclaren getting somewhere near competetive again.

Amazing to see the pole and 2nd place getting weighed in whilst the clock still ticked away. Is that really what Bernie wanted?

Back to the old system asap, to be honest I don't think I'll watch qualifying if it continues like that one did!
