not one for being negative, but i officially suck at golf. had good fun, but shooting nett 80, gross 107 is really disappointing!!i know im off 27, but truly play (normally) to about a 21 h/cap. just not played at my home course for a AGES to get my h/cap down.
not a sad bunny, more very disappointed in myself!
rant over, now having a cider watching the golf/football on FREE sky sports HD

I played for four years at my last club and never got down from 28 and that was two comps per week!

Have been at the abbey this summer, put three cards in and was given 21. A few buffers but mostly .1 back until today.

Today i Shot 88, net 66 and if my arse hadn't have gone on the last four holes probably a net 61.

What helped was I was in a two ball in the middle of 3 balls so had loads of time to think and look properly at alignment, clubbing, putting lines and slope.
