I hereby reclaim the title by providing additional superfluous educational information.
Decimation goes back to disciplinary action in the Roman army. If a unit had to be disciplined, 9 in a group of 10 would have to slaughter the 10th man to atone for their misdemeanour.
Sounds like a good idea for forum meets.
