Exceptional score calculation

Hi,

if someone beats their handicap by 7 shots or more, they may have a further handicap adjustment made to their score due to the exceptional score calculation which is good but can’t find anywhere what that calculation is and if it is some sort of sliding scale, any info appreciated on this topic. Thanks.

it’s ok, think I have found the answer, an adjustment of 1.0 is made if the score is between 7.0 and 9.9 and a 2.0 adjustment if the score is 10 strokes or more lower than their handicap. Thanks.
