I know what it was all about. I think it was France 98. I can remember it happening, it still makes me smirk that he got away with absolutely scot free no card nothing. Do that on the street and you could possibly be looking at a stay at HMP.

If I remember rightly Lennon got interviewed by the FA on it and commented after he felt he was in the dock for it.

Mental

Owen Coyle

If Everton get Owen Coyle i will get the wheel barrow out immediately from the shed and get down to the bank. Fill the barrow with cash then head off to every betting shop in the north west to have as much on Everton to get relegated as possible.

I know where on earth has his name popped up from. Get a well established prem club relegated then do pants in the championship for a while with basically the same squad then get sacked and have your name thrown around on here for a job at a top 6 Prem club unreal

Never met and hopefully never will. Seen enough of him on the TV and listened to countless interviews with him to form an opinion. Also google him plenty of stuff on there about what a nasty individual he is. No wonder Shearer kicked him when at Leics.

Speaking from here in Leics I will not be forming my opinion of Neill Lennon based upon what some troll may have posted and what is then regurgitated via Google!

No worries was not asking you to.Take it you have not seen him on TV then and his pleasent interviews? or his disgraceful behaviour during the old firm games or leaping in the air and stamping on another players head, that video is on youtube not a troll article regurgitated on google by the way.Sounds a real nice bloke Lennon.

His interviews are far from the worst I have seen (Souness, B Clough, A Ferguson) & his antics on the sidelines of Old Firm matches, whilst not wise, indicate how much he cares McCoist has not covered himself in glory at these games either.
Is Shearer's kicking of Lennon's head also on there and is he also a "vile horrible individual"?

Im sure there will be more than that kick from Shearer, not to mention the many blatant kicks from the likes of Mark Hughes and Roy Keane and what about kung fu Eric........and the list could go on.

Not on about anyone else only Lennon. However seems you have brought the other individuals up, Souness was thug as a player no idea about his interviews but if they are as bad as Lennons then he is a vile horrible individual as well who I would want nowehere near my club, Fergie was a very clever manipulator of the media and referees and his players but in no way a vile horrible individual. Brian Clough no idea on him really as he was on the go way before I was even born. With regards to Shearer what he did was very dangerous and he should have had the book thrown at him but other than that the way he conducts himself is in a different league to Lennon. McCoist as you say is not without his faults but again nowhere near as obnoxious as Lennon in the way he conducts himself and his general demeanour

In your opinion (not fact).

Absolutely that is what a forum is about opinions. I think he is a nasty piece of work you for some reason appear not to. Just like all the other names you mentioned are your opinion (not fact).

But then I haven't labeled anyone as "a vile and horrible individual" have I?

No but you compared Lennon's interviews to 3 other managers which is your opinion and not a fact. Anyway we can debate this all night, I think he is vile you dont. I am not gonna change your mind and you aint gonna change mine. So on that note as far as the Lennon debate goes i'm out.

If this offends you then probably best if I keep my views on Roy Keane to my self

Depends upon whether your views are based upon experience of meeting or dealing with the man or merely perception and prejudice.

Tbh it's based on the fact that when ever he's on itv as a pundit he comes across as a arrogant, obnocnsash t#+t.
He was a decent player tho:thup:

Having a real laugh at some of the pish uttered from some jokers on this thread.

They come across as real classy individuals.

Hopefully Sir Neil will not get the job and he can continue his fine stewardship at Glasgow Celtic.

Lennon is not ready for Everton or any Premiership.

With regards to the crap written about Lennon in general get a grip. I bumped into Neil Lennon on a golf course where he was golfing with a hoodie up and trying to keep his distance from everyone. When I spoke to him he came across as an absolute gentleman and came across as a genuine bloke. What I will say was he was also very quietly spoken and was embarrassed to be recognised.

Quite sad that your even trying to hide on a golf course away from the bigoted filth that is rife in Scotland.

I'm no fan of the OF big I admire Lennon on living his life with all the nonsense he has to put up with.

I'm not sure how someone can judge the man without meeting him and spout such filth about him. Sad really.
