Shameful.
Why is it shameful? If he was that good a big club would have been in for him years ago and he would have been off. The reason no big club has been in for him is that he simply aint good enough.
Shameful.
Not sure to be honest but maybe have a scout around the lower leagues for a good up and coming manager with some fresh ideas.
End of the day we won't attract any big name managers as we can't offer them the money to spend on players.
I agree Fellaini will be gone in the summer and i can't see Baines staying as he want's Champions league football.

Not good enough for a big club but he's worked miracles with a small budget, too.
Agree that his net spend is pretty small. However if you look a bit more in depth he has paid out some big sums on players over the years. Fellaini 15m, Yakubu 12m, Bilayetidinov(sp?)10m,Baines 7m plus various others. Mainly funded by the Rooney sale and a couple of others. So he has had money to spend granted nothing like UTD,Chelsea etc. Also he took over when the club were at rock bottom so the only way was up really they couldn't have got much lower. Also at the end of the day in his managerial career he has not even won 1 single trophy hardly an outstanding record by any means
Good on Wigan (from a Bolton fan). Too many people wrote Wigan off before a ball was kicked and that annoys me. Enjoy Wembley Danny boy

Apart from the Yak and Billy we will make profit on them players when they move on, i bet if you took our league positions over the last 10 years against the money we have spent on players i bet we have had better return than most if not all the current premiership clubs.
I admit it doesn't look good that he has never won a trophy but our only chances are in the cups where one bad game/decision and thats it gone for another season.
As much as i like the fact the club hasn't be sold out to some foreign owners and plunged into a massive debt it would have been nice to see some come in with a big lump of money and say to Moyes "buy who you want and win us some silverware"
Cheers mate. Its gonna be the first time the kids have been to Wembley, and my first time since it was tarted up a bit... Unfortunately, its going to mean that I can't play at Pannal, but the 'tics are a priority...
Even if he had an open chequebook I dont think he will win much if anything, just dont think he is as good as the media and some pundits make hime out to be. You would have thought he would won a cup though by now in all the years he has been there, Swnsea,Blackburn,Portsmouth have all won cups during his time there hardly heavyweights of the game. The best profit on Tranfers he has made has been on players that have come through the ranks like Rooney,Rodwell who I think were already in the academy when he first went to EFC, correct me if i'm wrong on that. Dont think he will make much on Fellaini as it is rumoured he has a release clause in his contract which is not much above what he paid for him and Baines might make 2-3m on him if he goes as I cant see him going for much more than 10m as he is in his late twenties.
He has turned a team that was fighting for relegation nearly every season to a team that is pushing for a european place every season with very little money to spend compared to the other teams that are up there pushing for a european place.
We won't know how good a manager he really is until he get's the blank cheque book to buy the players he really wants.
He made a tidy profit on Lescott, Arteta we made a decent profit on, we never really have taken a big loss on players, the likes of Cahill cost us pennys.
