Everton 0 - 'Tics 3

Well done to Wigan. Nothing against either team so did not care who won really, Moyes was clueless again what an overated manager he is if I were EFC I would not renew his contract in the Summer if he wants to stay or not and let him leave and get somebody else in, dare I say it Martinez:)

Cracking result for you latics, hope the semi is only part 1 and you make the final too unless (unless you draw United).
My nephew is a season ticket holder this season been up and down from Gloucester to all home matches and the odd away game, he's chuffed to bits too. You've been playin some nice football so hope a couple of league result similar come your way too.

Have a great wembley trip and best cancel Panal! :)

Cheers lads, Was a bit surprised by Everton TBH. The midfield just couldn't keep hold of the ball and the defence looked shakey. Fellaini and Jelavic looked like they gave up after that destructive 3 minute spell. Both the first goals were from very poor decisions from Osman and Neville. The 3rd was just pure catalan class. Not sure what Moyes could have done differently.

Already hoping for the first game so that I can make a full weekend of it. Friday night with the lads, Saturday at Wembley then sunday in the Pub.

Thought his tactics were poor, lots of long ball stuff, when they went behind no plan B, made some subs way to late just a poor show really. I think he has run out of ideas and do not think EFC will be any worse off if he clears out TBH. I like Martinez though his teams play good football on very limited resources and he seems to stick to his principles no matter what. Sorry to say but cant see him being at Wigan for that much longer

Agreed mate. If he goes, then he goes with my blessing. He's brought some fantastic young players into the club and turned them into better players. His relentless positivity does grate sometimes though.

Where did he get the lad the scored the 2nd goal from? looks like a real prospect and somebody said he was a boyhood Everton fan!!

Callum McManaman, we picked him up a few years ago after he was released by Everton. He's been hovering around the first team for a season or 2 but not quite making it. The FA cup run has been his first real stretch of games and he's been a revelation. He's another in a queue of players who'll probably get picked off by bigger clubs. Macarthur, Maloney, Kone, McManaman, Fyvvie....

Ali too?

Not sure about Kone doesn't impress me that much TBH, Maloney must be late twenties now so you might stand a chance of keeping him, McCarthur,McCarthy and McManaman will be tough to keep though can see the vultures swooping for them in the summer. Didn't know EFC released McManaman either what a mistake that is looking like.

They did the same with Baines (I think). We picked him up, polished him up a bit, then sold him back for about £7 million. Good bit of business.
Kone can appear a bit lazy at times, but he's played as a lone striker a lot recently, holding the ball up for other players. Our midfield are scoring a number of goals due to the work that Kone and Di Santo put in.

Well done to Wigan today, they wanted to win it more and it's the worst i've seen Everton play for a long time.

Moyes has to take the brunt of the blame, why on earth he started Neville instead of Gibson is shocking, Neville has been poor all season but he still picks him.

That said the whole team was poor they just didn't have a plan b, Fellaini did himself no favours by giving the finger to the Everton fans and went straight down the tunnel.

Time for us to look into bringing in a fresh face for next season with some new ideas as it's all starting to get a bit stale with Moyes.

Exactly as I said mate Moyes is done I reckon. As I said I think he is way overated anyway so wouldn't be any great loss. Did not know about the Fellaini incident but I doubt he is that bothered as he will be off to another club in a few months anyway. Who would you want to replace Moyes

What do you make of Habsi? He makes some stunning saves and then drops an absolute howler

Big Ali is a fans favourite who has done great things for the club. On his day he's a world beater. Unfortunately, he seems to have lost a bit of focus recently and has had a few shockers. I'd keep him as No1 for the season, but the young Spanish keeper Joel Robles seems to be a decent prospect for next season.

Not sure to be honest but maybe have a scout around the lower leagues for a good up and coming manager with some fresh ideas.

End of the day we won't attract any big name managers as we can't offer them the money to spend on players.

I agree Fellaini will be gone in the summer and i can't see Baines staying as he want's Champions league football.

Good on Wigan (from a Bolton fan  ). Too many people wrote Wigan off before a ball was kicked and that annoys me. Enjoy Wembley Danny boy :)
