Look, if you don't like this, please don't post.

I've made an almighty "mess" this year. i've gone and booked a trip away when this is on, so will not be having a party. I'm currently listening to ALL entrants at work, busy busy. I'll let you know if any song jumps out. And before you ask, the UK one is utter s h one t.

Australia, opera, what's that about???

So, after listening to the lot, this is my, utterly useless going off previous years, attempts to guess the winner. It will come from one of:-

Belarus / Switzerland / Cyprus / Germany / Denmark / Spain / Ireland / Latvia / Malta.

I'm having another listen to these now to narrow it down.

Haven't seen this in many years, agree Wogan was all that was good about it. Alway think of Father Ted and 'My Lovely Horse' whenever the word Eurovision is mentioned.

Quick look at wikipedia there to see winners, I see Celine Dion won, had no idea she's entered for Switzerland, thought she was French Canadian?
Terrible song and terrible perm too -

right up there with my fav songs of all time is "My Lovely Horse " often seen singing it to myself while walking the dogs, even got the same shooting Gillet as Father Dougal has on while doing it, no wonder i get strange looks sometimes:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I don't think you have to be from the country you enter for. Remember we had 'Gina G' who was Australian one year??

Ozzies seem terribly keen to be permanently part of this event, god knows why. Maybe it's the humour value or the campness of it all, certainly not for the music.
