Angel Cabrera, The love is here for the big man!

A true story of rags to riches, a humble guy who hasnt forgotten where he came from and a wonderful story.

Read a long interview with him last year and tbh, you cant help but to love the guy.

It seems strange to me, in this modern world, to come across someone who is one of the best players in the world, and who hasn't felt the need to learn English.

All good.

Any other winner would have ruined the Masters for me this year

I'd snog him. In a macho congratulatory way only, of course

If the PGA is anything like the LPGA perhaps they'll ban Cabrera from playing in the US...

I take it Cabrera doesn't live in the US, unlike many other top name golfers.
A humble man indeed. I heard say he is a rags to riches success story and still bears scars from his youthful misdemeanors.

I thought the Yankees had the Masters sewn up, great to see the big fella come through and win it. Shame no Europeans played well enough to mount a challenge.

Next years champions meal will be a big hunk of meat barbequed in a stolen shopping trolley, cooked over a diesel fire in the car park. I can't wait. Fantastic.

I have always rated Angel, and now it is vindicated. Top bloke. Plays at my speed, gets on with it. Only problem is I don't like Ping.
