Has anyone heard of or tried escape rooms? I went to the Salisbury one on Easter Monday and it is a really fun experience. It is a 'crystal maze' type game where you have a fixed amount of time (generally about 60 mins) to find all the necessary clues to escape from a room(s). Ideal for groups of about 4 to 6 people for an afternoon/evening out.

Just google 'escape rooms' to find your nearest one

They give you 94 minutes at Goodison.:D

I've done one and it's great! I can recommend Lucardo in Manchester. There were 4 of us doing ours, which was probably just about right, once you start getting bigger groups you can end up miscommunicating quite alot as it's hard to avoid getting excited. We saw a family of 6 going in as we left, all the children under 12 I'd say, I can imagine that was chaotic!!

There's one you can do where you try and take a whole country out of Europe .... you have two years from start to finish and the hassle you get from outsiders is unreal.

You sir deserve an award. Excellent reply.

I'm interested in trying the Newcastle escape room if anyone has frequented that and could give me an opinion on it.
