English golf union subscription

Golfers who are members of more than one English golf union club , is it correct that they pay a English golf union subscription, at each club ?
Only asking , as it was a point of conversation today and nobody knew , what the ethical answer was .Cheers

I understand that they only pay one subscription at their home club.

That's what we were wondering , so my other clubs are making an extra £9.50 on my green fees ?

If you are a member why are you paying green fees as opposed to an annual subscription ?

I understand that they only pay one subscription at their home club.

How clubs decide to count and declare their members is something of a mystery to both the counties and England Golf. They have been considering using the CDH but thought they may lose the money from not counting those who don't have handicaps. My county had evidence of clubs over declaring and others under declaring.

I understood the club pay the fee according to the number of members rather than naming each individual member .

My mistake , I pay annual subs at 3 clubs
