Embarrassing friends

I've not seen many chuckers recently, but there has been a spate of iron size holes left in tee boxes, where some numpty has obviously slammed his club down in frustration. I don't chuck clubs, as chances are I'd miss my intended target line and only have to throw a provisional.

I did once throw a club up juggling style, not out of anger or frustration, I just thought it would look cool, until I realised how the club spun in the air, all to late and nearly cracked my skull with the head.

Have a good mate - not normally a club thrower - who once got so p'd off with a rubbish chip he executed to perfection, that he threw his club in disgust - and it landed 20ft up a tree. Oh how we chortled as he struggled to get it down.
