Wife's threatening to buy me one for Christmas, powerbug digital sport at £199, Go-Kart £244, looks like Go-Kart gets some write up on here for customer service etc, not sure if i'm convinced with the looks, or is it really worth splashing out serious cash for Powakaddy, Motocaddy, any opinions welcomed.

I've got a GoKart, but I'm going to avoid telling you all about it and how great things are.

Instead, I'm going to tell you that I forgot the battery the other day, so borrowed a rental Powakaddy from the pro-shop. And hated it! It's quite slow and more importantly really heavy to steer/turn compared to the GoKart. Even heavy to carry out of the shop (therefore heavy to get out of the car, I imagine). For all people's talk about the "plasticky looks" of the GoKart, I felt like the handle of the powakaddy was going to snap off - rather flimsy.

Now this could be because it's old, but I really didn't like it when compared with my GoKart.

Can't comment on the Powerbug, but you get a 2 year warranty on the GoKart, and loads of other stuff.

As I said, I've only tried it and an older Powakaddy, so am not going to say it's the best on the market, but it's certainly the best I've tried!

I've had a PK freeway for a couple of years with no issues. recently bought a GoKart and in comparission is way ahead. Very light and folds down a lot smaller than PK.

I like the ease in which it goes up and down, takes about 40 seconds. I have to Automatic which is so simple to use, no controls just push and go.

Also comes in a variety of colours and if you wish to splash out you can get a bag to match

Motocaddy S1 Digital suberb trolley and good add ons etc

Looks the business and works well on all terrains

I had the mk1 GO Kart for me the Motocaddy blows it away

Motocaddy s1 pro. In alpine white. Bought one a few weeks ago. Can't fault it. Bought the accessory station. Umbrella holder, GPS holder, drinks holder. Folds up to a nice size to fit into the boot. Superb so far !!

Had my gokart four years this Christmas and have to say its a great piece of kit. I can regulary play 36 holes on one charge and the other week managed 45 holes and it was still pulling strong come the end. The only downside is that is rather noisier then my playing partners motocaddy .

Go Kart all the way. I don't understand why people get hung up on looks. Put your trolly on it and play. Reliable and with second to none customer service I think GK is a great product and I'd recommend it every time

Just look after your battery! I have left mine for over 6 months without a recharge as I have not needed my trolley. I should have topped it up every 3 months or so but it totally slipped my mind. Heyho at least a new battery is not THAT expensive.

Very good..I also forgot my battery, but my pro had plenty of Powakaddy batteries. Three years I've had my freeway now and I've never needed to say how good the customer service is, because I've never needed it. GoKart, love em or hate them, but I dont know any pro that has a spare battery for them.
