Hi,
has anyone experience with carrying an e-caddy in an aircraft? Is it possible to register it together with the golf-bag? Or are there restictions in terms of the battery?
Thanks for answers

Mark

Could be that your carrier may not be hapy with the battery though. I know someone who was declined travcel because of two drycell 12v 7ah batteries he had in his hold luggage!

I suspect that the batteries won't be classed as 'Dangerous Air Cargo' . There is a published list of such items (have fun plowing through it) and the airline may require particular packaging. It is also not normally accepted that certain items be packed into normal baggage.

some items are considered hazardous only in bulk, lithium batteries for instance.
In this case you have sealed batteries and we had a dozen gel batteries air freighted to Malaysia with no hassle.

You need to check with your airline but not with the airheads on the front desks.
