Hi - has anyone ever went to this event and any good? https://edinburghgolfweek.com/

I play off 10 and looking at Scotland for trIp next year, not sure if will be on my own or with mate.

Any info welcome e.g. do they give any accommodation optiions? is it just for low handicap?

Also looking at that with HiD ,we've played in some of their events before and they're very well run .

It certainly looks good value. The challenge will be finding reasonably priced accommodation in Edinburgh in peak tourist season!

Busy but not peak, the Festival hasn't started by then and only Scottish schools on holiday(who won't holiday in Edinburgh)

You could look at places not far out from the centre of Edinburgh.

The Dales Festival looks a good one as well, Bedale, Catterick and Richmond.

Looks like good value over 5 decent courses.
Hotels will not be cheap and central Edinburgh is never easy to negotiate during the main tourist season. Especially during peak times 8/10 and 4/6

Brilliant value that for some very nice courses. Look a bit further out accommodation wise than the city centre and you’ll save a fortune.
