Eclectic Score?

At your home course (if you have one), taking your best ever score on each hole and putting them together what would be your all time Eclectic Score

Mine would be -24 on our par 70 (46 Gross). I'd probably make page 9 of the Sun with that score

I think there are 4 holes I haven't birdied since I joined and haven't made any eagles so 14 under par 56 for me

not in the same league as you chaps as there are still two holes at my course that I haven't parred yet!!!!!! Mine would be 68 (-3).

Much more concerning is my eclectic worst 173 (+102)

67 for me (also 3 under) but only played 12 full rounds since I've joined so I'm quite happy with that. Still waiting to par our par 3 9th though. It's my bogey hole at the mo!!!

Tiger, why would you work out your eclectic worst?!!

At Pyrford, it's -20 (52). Two eagles and 16 birdies.

At Sunbury's Main course, it's -24 (44). Six eagles and 12 birdies.

On their 9-hole course, it's one albatross, two eagles (in the same round) and six birdies. -13 (20).


My goal each year is to birdie all 45 holes on these courses. Currently at 40.

Mine would be -22 or 48 gross (in comps). 2 par 5's and 2 drivable par 4's which I've eagled regularly, the rest just mere birdies. Never holed a wedge shot in a comp at ours though I've done that at least 3 or 4 times at other courses. Never had a hole in one in a comp either :-(

Is the right answer. Hoping a comparison between this season and last will see both sets of scores improve. +102... Ouch!

I was -26 at my last club, eagling 8 and birdieing the rest.
At my current club, I've birdied every hole and eagled 2 so -20.
Not bad in 2 1/2 years....

Well, actually, I do.

I think I can confidently say 14 under. I know this because I've never made an Eagle....and there are 4 holes I've only ever parred and never birdied.

I think I can also say that these 4 holes are also the main reason for not getting back to the "8" that I got to in my first golf career.

Oddly, my best at the other course in the town is certainly 18 under or better.

Maybe I should just give in a change home club.

At a 9 holer 3000yd Par 35 I play often at my eclectic is, errrr, have to work it out.... 16. 8 eagles and an albatross (there are three Par 3's).
Playing it as an 18 holer, it would be 1 albatross, 2 birds and 15 eagles, which is, I think... 35, so minus 35.
No, thats wrong, must be 3 birds, as I have only aced the three par 3's once each, so that 34 under.

Only been at my club a month and played maybe 6-8 rounds but i've had 2 eagles on par 4's and a few birdies here and there.
