He's put midsize grips on the by the sounds of it. If I bought them I'd have to spend a few more quid getting standard ones put back on.

He's doing alright - he's up £340 with over 4 days to go.

I wonder how many people question peoples credibility over a set of golf clubs on e-bay? Perhaps this may result in frustrated response by someone who just might be selling genuine. What actually proves a club to be genuine in a shop? Unless you are a specialist or expert you only have the confidence of the store selling them and the ability to take them back and complain with the majority of makes. I could tell you a thing or two about a pro shop and what it used to sell punters as genuine but I cannot name or I might be liable. :D Though I will say this, perhaps this year is the time to look out for the fakes more than any other time, credit crunch an all. ;)

I have sold on eBay and I would not be able to answer your questions any differently from this vendor.
His replies are quite polite and I would be prepared to take a risk if I were in the market for these clubs. It is an auction after all and the price is expected to rise.
I once asked a question from a seller in Wishaw and received a load of abuse because I would not commit to buying his club.

I would agree with this. He is polite enough and probably has 25 watchers so he knows they're going to sell and doesn't want to answer endless questions he doesn't need to. Down to the individual, if you're unsure don't buy. Fact lamkins are midsize would explain the grip change. The guy has sold a few Titleist clubs so they're probably genuine but where from - who knows!

The strange choice of shaft made me think twice about bidding before you posted this. It makes me think they are genuine as they are a custom option, if they where fake they would probably have a graphite or stepped shaft.
