Easiest courses in Northumberland?

If that is Alnmouth Village GC then it is certainly worth a visit. Not played it for a while, but saw it last week and it was busy and looking in good condition.

Never played there, I saw some of the holes from Foxton and it did look decent.

Good shout, just a point of interest. Alnwick are building a new clubhouse, due to be ready mid August. They have moved it to the 5th hole, now to be the 1st. This is the highest point of the course and it will overlook a number of holes as well as being able to see for miles. A fabulous spot.

The old 18th has been taken for housing and a new hole created.

It's a great move for the club, a friendly place with no airs or graces. The entrance will be changed incidentally, best to check the website for how to get there once the change has completed. For those who know the area it will be off the Alnwick moor road.

Sometimes the loss of a hole for housing is a desperate measure and a big negative for a club. In this case it is only a positive and should revitalise the club.
