Duxford Air Show

Looking forward to seeing the Vulcan at Bournemouth in August, hopefully they can get the lanc back up and running by then as well

I saw the Vulcan fly at RAF Finningly many years ago, also on that display was the BAC Electric Lightening, that is my dads favourite plane, during the display, it came down the runway full afterburners on, about 50eet, then the pilot pointed to the sky, never seen a plane climb as fast as that, not even many years later when I watched the F16 with it's 1:1 thrust to weight ratio did the F16 appear to climb faster.

I remember having the bejeezus scared out of me by a low flying Vulcan whilst on exercise in the dark at Leuchars

I was on 101 Squadron at RAF Waddington. It was one of our bombers (XM607) that dropped the 1st bombs on Port Stanley's runway.....
Shame that aircraft is now just gathering pigeon crap at the bottom edge of the perry track.
