I played the dukes this morning, started off at the driving range warming up and right away noticed something was up with my driving lol. The course was really nice and the bunkers are spectacular, easily the nicest bunkers I’ve seen yet. They were massive and I like the way they looked kind of rugged not cut perfectly and bushes growing around a lot of them. Was really impressed with there bunkers. Some great holes. It was a long course today, legs started to get tired towards the end but a very enjoyable round of golf. Driving was quite bad today and on some holes would tee off with my 5 iron. Need to improve my driving it’s definitely my weakest part of my game.

Quite an underrated course in my opinion, have always thought it would be better liked if it wasn't in St Andrews under the shadow of the links.

It is a long walk and it's a shame the layout of the 9th and 18th feel the wrong way around. Other than that I always enjoy playing it.
