Anything but beautiful. Though I enjoyed much of our 8 day visit as we were staying with relatives, I found it gross - and ultimately fairly sickening in it's ostentatious show of wealth and avarice. But there you go. If that's what Dubai wants and enough of us are happy to buy into it then that's what it'll be and ever more become. Pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth - take your pick - Dubai pretty much has it all. You can guess I'm not rushing back. Each to his own
