Anyone dropped their trolley battery? Fell from a few feet. It's the traditional cuboid shaped one, not the fancy new shaped ones for motocaddys etc.

It doesn't look damaged but not sure about innards.

Thought I'd ask before setting the house on fire by charging it.

I've dropped my Powakaddy battery several times and cracked the case twice. No harm done. Basically it is a bank of cells soldered together.

Thanks all. Mind at rest. I'm always telling the kids to watch what they're doing when helping me move it and then I go and drop it. ?

Mine, a motocaddy one, fell off a shelf five feet up … landed on the concrete floor of my garage. The case cracked slightly, but I have used it for more than a year since without any problem.

My LitePower Lithium completely cut out twice, 1st time after hitting a tree root, 2nd time going over a bump.
It wouldn't work again until it was connected to the charger. You can jump start/ reset it from another battery if you have the correct leads.
