Driver vs hybrid

I think I probably carry about 200 yards with the driver ( easily 100 down on forum ave ) not sure what the carry is with the hybrid.
Next time I'm at the range I'll hit maybe 10 with each club and see what the result is.
I went to a Ping demo day and the fitter had me with a 12 deg G30 as the suggested club to change my K15 for.
I think I need to work on getting a lower flight with the driver to maximise run as it flies significantly higher than the hybrid.
Will report back after range session.

Nothing wrong with a relatively high flight with the driver (not great into the wind on links courses but for the average UK course through the year you aren't really looking for roll you want carry.
Hit normally, every club in the bag should reach about the same height - it's the overall trajectory that counts for roll; which is a function of launch angle and spin.
On the numbers you are quoting you simply aren't getting the Clubhead speed and impact conditions appropriate to you driver - forget the spec at this point and work with your pro to improve these.
