Looking for a neutral place I can go for a 'drains up' driver fitting session. I would like to go to a place that has all the measurement gear and a large variety of makes and different shafts and of course specialist knowledge.

I'd also like to hit balls into an open range.

Does such a place Exist ?

You could try Pachesham nr Leatherhead. They do TM, Mizuno, Ping, Wilson, Cobra, Nike and Yonex drivers so that should be plenty to go on with. The only brand they don't do is Callaway. Ask for a guy called Andrea Timms

the professional club builders don't tend to have full size ranges as part of their set up.......

where in the SE are you looking; there's 2 near me that are considered excellent and deal with a number of Tour professionals

Am in Wokingham Nr Reading, dont mind travelling a bit.

Thanks.

I can recommend Precision Golf in Thorpe/Egham.

Golf Principles in Basingstoke

There is also Leaderboard in Reading which I believe has a Range

All the above have Trackman/Flightscope LMs

Rene Cleaver near Gloucester is an 'old-school' club-fitter I believe - with Vector LM. Just as effective, just not as high tech.

I've just been fitted for a driver shaft at golf principles and would highly recommend their service but there isn't an outdoor section.

Although leader board golf in reading has a range it was where I originally bought the driver from and they didn't even have the taylormade shaft options there let alone anything more exotic. Completely different experience and levels of knowledge.

I was fitted for a new driver at Silvermere (near West Byfleet) just before Christmas. I thought it was excellent. Good range of shafts, great range of clubs and expert knowledge.

The chap that fitted me was called Jason Banting - seemed a top bloke to me. Didn't try and force any particular club or brand on me, got the best results with an R11S with an upgraded shaft (would have cost c.£400) but results only a little better than the £199 Titleist 910 D2, so went for that.
