At the range on Monday night and all was well until I pulled the driver from the bag! Big fades and slices. Get out the v-easy to make sure my alignment is ok, put a couple of wedges down as guides to line up feet and shoulders etc. swing driver and bang! Whollop driver into the upturned wedge face! Wedge flies onto range, ooh not good me thinks. Inspect driver to find a hole in the heel and the web weight missing!! Busted ft-9 anyone!

Bob you owe me one driver!

Sent it off to callaway yesterday in the hope that they feel generous and take pity on this fool and send me my third driver head!!

Also think its time for some tour sticks, don't think they destroy drivers!

So you smash your driver and expect Callaway to replace it? Hope they tell you to go and jump, bloody chancer!

Still trying to figure out! How its possible to do it. Either a rotten driver of the ball. Or you had the wedge head resting on top of the ball. Tell how you did it?????

Sorry, but I'm puzzled why you had the wedges there in the first place.
Surely the markings down the rods give you your aim points?

So you smash your driver into into a wedge being used as an alignment aid and expect the manufacturer to give you a nice new head. Fat chance unless you lie about the circumstances but that would be fraud would'nt it.

It was definatley operator error!! A) school boy error in placing the heads on the right hand side b) no idea how the driver head got to that position!!

The first time they changed the head as it had a rattle so no operator fault there!!

They've been pretty good in the past, don't ask you don't get and no I don't have insurance as was planning on getting in the new year. I was absolutely gutted, glad I kept my old one!

This was the secondhand driver you got I think. Well guess you can try. But what excuse will you use. Oh and next time.:fore: ...

Bob should replace it for not having a clear warning on the box of his VEasy stating YOU DO NOT NEED WEDGES WITH THIS PRODUCT.

It was obviously not clear how to use it proper;y ...even though there are pictures a web site and videos.....

Still not sure how you hit the wedge though!

Well it definitely brought a smile to my face. Crunch, look of horror, wedge cata paulting down the range - "excuse me chaps but would you mind hanging fire" and then the realisation of the damage done. I don't mean to be cruel but it does bring up a funny image in my head. I'm not sure I'd try my arm with Cally - does seem a bit out of order really, but good luck to you.
