Drill to reduce hip slide

I suffered with what I thought was excessive hip slide from time to time for a long while (and probably still will when I forget what I’m trying to do) but have recently found what I think is the cause.

I think the more I tried to not shove my hips forward, the more my torso tilted backwards.

The feel I have now is to keep my top half over my lower half on the downswing, ending up with my weight over my left foot, not just pressure on it.

Not sure how much of that makes sense, or even if it’s any use as feels can be very individual.

This tries to show what I mean. No head, no club, no dress code and slow but this is what I’m feeling - before and after.
