Tomorrow I have an interview for a dream job and yes it's golf related. Anyone got any words of wisdom? Really really REALLY WANT THIS JOB!!!

My only advice is to be prepped with questions to ask them
Am sure your ready for this theirs but asking some (especially showing you have done some research) always goes down well
The best piece of advice I ever got is 'remember you are interviewing them - if they don't fit you then everything is irrelevant t anyway'

I interview a lot for some quite senior positions.
Honestly apart from knowing your stuff technically the single most important factor is a positive nature. Every question they throw at you, NEVER allow yourself to give a negative answer.
I obviously dont know the specifics of the role and how much knowledge of the subject is required. What i will say is that i hire on personality and an ability to work with someone. If that person is maybe not as technical as the next person but gives me the impression that they will go above and beyond to atain that level. Then potentially they will get the role above someone with all the experience but no personality or the wrong attitude.
Just get in, smile and sell yourself.

in addition to the previous.... Make sure you know about the company. If American, they are big on "core values and ethos" .... why are you interested in that organisation rather than another one? Everyone they see will be "wanting a role in golf!" Why are you different? What will you add to their organisation?

Dont BS or waffle, if you don't know say you don't know but will find out.
Speak slowly (being nervous makes you speak too quickly) and clearly.

All top advice given so far. Another vote for a positive attitude. Think as well, they could be seeing 20 people. Why you? How can you be memorable?

Look at your interviewers body language and try to mimic it without being too obvious. People like others that have similar body language traits. For example: Take a similar sitting posture, if they use their hands to elaborate then do the same.
Try to sit with your chair on a slight angle to the other person, that way it is easy to make eye contact but also to be able to break it away if they seem to be uncomfortable.

Oddly enough I had an interview of sorts today which went quite well. A local firm are trying to "poach" me so I met the head guys down at the main office in Halifax for a natter.
I just need to see what package they are offering now but it's a good opportunity for me to gain more experience with other machines.

Do your research. Know the company you have the job interview with. A common question, and one I also use, is "tell me what you know about us. Sell the company to me."
Make sure you have some decent questions to ask, and don't be frightened to ask them. A good candidate also interviews the company they are looking to join.
