Drayton Park Golf Club

Well, it'd be for the aaaargh experience only! I suspect a decent level of traffic noise from the M4 too.
Used to play Theale often when I worked on the business park there 20 odd years ago… it wasn’t the traffic noise that got you; it was the aerobatics/stunt plane that used to practice over there.

Amazing how off putting the drone of a biplane can be… when it suddenly cuts out, and you look up to see a plane falling out of the sky 🤣

Had a couple of days there a few years ago, courtesy of RAF having some coaching. Practice facilities were very good and we played the course each afternoon. I recall it was very hot and the course had a funky layout where you seemed to cross the same point a few times. Has a par 3 where you have to leave your trolley by the tee and go up to the green with whatever clubs you need as the next tee is back at the par 3 tee. The hole where you go over the corner of the field is a bit of an eye opener

I am looking forward to it. Seems none of our lads have ever played it so we're all be going in blind although that isn't always a bad thing
