Steve off at 11.08, not that many names that I recognise, which says a lot for the way the forum has grown.

well I asked for the whites - thanks Jezz

Will I need to have some dark glasses? IIRC, the last time we played at the same event I think you had the John Daly trousers :)

If Marriott owned/run properties have a policy of societies must play off yellow tees, what's the odds on the white tee markers being close to the yellow posts? :)

Anthony - 11.08

Ah what's 4 minutes......

Gonna be there by 9 anyway.

Think I've worked out the layout. Ist hole is on the far side of the Hotel as you come in.
That carpark right of the 17th is deffo OB for my car!!

It's going to be interesting to see how they're going to split the handicaps into groups for the qualifying. There's 13 single figure players - almost a 1/3rd of the field, and only 8 20+. Getting 4 equal groups out of that isn't going to be easy.

Good luck to all forummers - I wish you all the best.

I'm gutted that I couldn't make this so please ensure comprehensive write ups/pictures (just make sure RickG/Viscount/Murph are not all stood together - it'll look like a colour blind eye test!! ) :)

11.40 Tom Wardley (14)

Looks like Jezz predicted I would shoot under my handicap this weekend and get cut. I was supposed to be off 15 but 14 was posted on here.

We I did and I expect when I next get a handicap update I will be 14.1

Well done Jezz!

Jezz, I'm off 9, not 10.

I am also carrying 13 clubs as a handicap, as the 8i did not survive todays round. Damn, KBS shafts are fragile.

No worries, I can bung in my Titleist 8i to make up the set. Odd set, but it'll work. My favourite club too. Hope they can patch her up like new.
