Doubles

It's a 'mute' point really annoys me... okay, moderately annoys me!

But the most irritating is perhaps Stapleford... it's Stableford not Stapleford; it's Stableford not Stapleford; it's Stableford not Stapleford... see, doesn't really annoy me...much!

That's one that really gets to me!

What ball do you game

What clubs do you game

Aghhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Also -a club Amatuer - my coach told me !!

He is a pro you have lessons with - he isn't "your coach"

I get irritated by people using the term 'nett par'. I don't care if they are right. It's either a bogey, (or double) or it isn't.

Oh man! Am I in a bad mood now!!! ;)

Less rather than fewer is another one. Come on, people! If it's your mother tongue, please learn how to use it.

Okay I have been drawn in ....

Maybe controversial, but I will throw in "get" and "got"

Next time you watch the news, listen to some sport or whatever - just acknowledge how often you hear these, and consider what other words could have been used.

Doesn't make my blood boil though, guess the dictionaries will just be smaller in future.

I'm no expert and have a technical job, but still seem to manage fine without them.

How does everyone feel about the use of he's instead of his?

Wow! has the average age off posters gone up? their, i said it. All of you old grumpy folk, when i get to you're age me hopes that grumpiness does not set in.

I will game my bats as much as me likes and swing them like my coach showed me. Whoo hoo! another nett par! 6 for 2! Boom, High five, chest pump!

As the mighty Butch Harmon might say: "Golf your ball Rooter, golf your ball!"
