Doing your own DIY Car Maintenance

My car is still under warranty so the only maintenance I do is replacing the air freshener. However, I still do most of the maintenance on my daughters car.

I used to service fleet vehicles. I’ll pay somebody else to work on my car now. I won’t even wash it or hoover it.

Frankly, it’s not worth my time.

During the 1960s/70s/80s I did all my own maintenance. Oil, filters, brake pads/discs. new valves/decoke/ clutch/starter motor/ carb jets/diaphragm/fuel pump and so much more. Now with fuel injection and a knackered back (caused by laying under so many cars) I dont even consider it.
