Dog food advice

Teaspoonful of cod liver oil. They love it and it's very good for them.

you can buy it off amazon, specially formulated for horses, dogs and other livestock. It's called Gold Label and is actually a blend of cod liver oil, fish oils and rapeseed oil.

I'm partial to a tuna mayo sandwich, and give our older one the sunflower oil and some of the tuna whenever I open a tin - he loves that!

We've had dogs for 40 years & have fed them on everything, wet, dry, cheap, not so cheap. All have been superbly healthy lived an average of 15 years. What is important, I think, is that they have been exercised regularly, running, not just walking & not overfed or fed lots of human food. Most have been crossbreeds, which are generally free of the kinds of afflictions suffered by inbred pedigree dogs.

What afflictions are these?

We rescued a dog in March from the pound, Collie/Red Setter mix (we think) and we are having real trouble getting her to eat. She loves human food and will happily eat anything we are eating, yet when you put her food out, she literally needs to be starving to be interested. We have tried James Wellbeloved and Wainwrights and she isn't too keen on either. The Wainwrights is nearly finished and we arent 100% sure on what to do next.
She's got you wrapped round her little finger. If she refuses her food, take it away and give it back to her next meal time. She will soon learn what hunger feels like.

Ok so my Dog (French bulldog) is 2 years old and as always been fed on dry food.
I've been advised that raw food is better for them.
Just purchased a pack (Natural instincts).
Anyone switched from dry to raw & did you see a difference with your dog?

Thanks.

simple reason to keep them on dry

dry food makes their poo easier to pick up and much less smelly
