Does this chart show amazing gains with the new Taylor Made driver?

Need to get spin rate down with possibly different loft and/or shaft. Shallower descent angle might sacrifice a little carry for a lot more roll-out.
This is only a possibility not a fact.

Ball speed is 6mph higher - carry is 14 yards longer - I think the total hasn't gone up because you were getting too much spin by the looks of it? If you can tweak the new one to lower that spin from 2600 to like 2200, then yes, it should be knocking your old one out of the park. What loft did you have it set to?

Even with the current numbers, isn't more carry and less reliance on roll better anyway??

Club speed is 3mph higher....that accounts for the extra ball speed....
Was it easier to swing faster..?

Numbers look a bit odd to me with the old driver some seriously low spin numbers on a couple Of shots surprised it didn’t just fall out of the air. Opposite issue with the new driver looks high spin and will struggle in the wind.

Be interested to know what the shifts being used in both are. That in itself could fix the spin numbers on both clubs and see dramatic increases a gains for you. Serious clubhead speed to 💪

I just can't see how it shows "Amazing gains"....

Oh, I assumed it was your numbers. But, as discussed, the gains are in ball speed mostly, that's what they'll be basing it on. Once they tweak the set-up to lower the spin, it will be longer than the other driver. I would also say the consistency of the ball speed and carry numbers across multiple hits indicates it might be more forgiving across the face. Whereas the old driver had a bit of drop-off on shots 1 and 3.

I think, if I'm getting 315 total whichever i use, I'd rather have the carry as roll is a highly variable commodity that can't be controlled
So, in that respect, thenits an impressive gain....in the studio I suspect.
Real world....who knows.

I was suspicious the moment I saw an extra 3mph swing speed with the new driver, a significant change in both club path and face angle....almost as though it is two different golfers....but the Qi4d stats are just sooo consistent swing to swing....just look at those attack angle numbers.

I hate these "pro-level" analyses/comparisons of golf clubs....they are utterly meaningless to 90% of golfers out there. They need to put these clubs in the hands of your average 13 and 22 handicappers to show some meaningful real world data that the majority of us can relate to.
